Is an appointment required to try on a wedding dress?
To ensure the best possible experience, appointments are required when trying on wedding dresses. We reserve 1 hour 15 minutes for your bridal appointment. Are you just accessorizing or making final decisions? You can book a follow up appointment for an individualized hour of glamming up your bridal look!
We will accommodate walk ins as best we can, but we only if we have the appointment time open!
How many people should I bring with me to my appointment?
Please limit the number of guests in your entourage to your closest friends/family members who know you the best and whose opinion you value the most. Too many opinions can be overwhelming for the bride! Additionally, we are not able to accommodate any pets, or young children, in the boutique due to the delicate nature of the wedding dresses and furnishings.
What do I wear?
Your consultant will be popping in and out of the dressing room to help you into each wedding dress…. So wear something you are comfortable in. Light colored undergarments, strapless bra, and Spanx are suggested. Don’t forget the undies 🙂
Do you carry my size?
Our samples range from sizes 6-28 in bridal, with most being in the 12/14 range. Bridal sizing typically runs two sizes bigger than your normal street size. If a sample is too big, we will clip it, and if it’s a bit snug, we will insert a panel. All of our wedding dresses can be ordered in sizes 0-30 currently. Some sizes may be limited, but we do try to carry a few sizes of each design as best we can.
How long will my dress take to come in?
Start shopping early! Wedding dresses can take 4-6 months to arrive, and alterations can take another 2 months, so make sure to allow plenty of time. Many designers offer rush shipping to accommodate an earlier wedding date for a minimal fee. We also offer an “off the rack” selection of our sample dresses throughout the year as certain styles are discontinued or we make room for new arrivals.
What is the return policy?
All sales are final. Cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds cannot be given on your wedding dress purchase, as we must purchase the dress first upon ordering.
What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
Our gowns dresses from $1000- $4000, with an average price of $1600. We work very hard to choose high-quality designers that offer a variety of styles and price ranges to fit most every budget. We always have a selection of off-the rack sample gowns for sale at marked down prices for those brides on a budget or a tight timeline. We have a rack of dresses under $500, for those looking for a simple courthouse wedding dress, or a second look.
Do you carry plus size dresses?
Yes! We are continually building our collection of plus size sample gowns in bridal sizes 18-30! We have one designer who solely specializes in curvy brides as well as several plus size gowns from each of our other designers. We are always working to find trusted designers with wide size ranges to make all brides feel confident.
I have an old wedding dress, would you do sell it for me?
We do not offer consignment, so we are unable to take any prior owned dresses. There are some great spaces that take donated wedding dresses, and turn them into gowns for NICU babies, as an alternative option.
Do you sell Mother of the Bride or Groom Dresses?
Not at this time! We try to make sure we have plenty of dresses to fit every bride’s needs. While in the appointment with the bride, feel free to ask us for some input on spaces to find great dresses for Moms!
Can we bring in food and drinks?
All items just need to be approved by the shop before arriving. Please do not show up with food or drinks without consent prior.
